Edward Fox Photography
My wedding was in June and we had the photographer Bernard and his assistant Ruth. THEY WERE PHENOMENAL AND VERY PATIENT with all that was going on the day of the wedding. Bernard called me the week before the wedding to see if there was anything that we specifically wanted him to ensure that he captured, as well as a timeline of how the wedding and reception would go to make sure they captured every moment.
On the day of the wedding, they called to let us know when they were close, as well as they through the day asked "Are you all doing OK? Smile and Breathe you all look great!!" It was very comforting and reassuring.
As for the company Edward Fox, the Sales phase was great, as we met with Michelle in Oct and it was one of the best wedding meetings we had! We laughed and learned all of the great wedding day advice she had. It was great!! Once we signed the contract, we would have liked more follow-up from the team, such as at least a month or so before the wedding just to see how things were going, however, we were highly organized, so it was no problem that the sales team did not do that.
The engagement photo session with Tunwa on of their Senior Photographers was hilarious and very fun! Our pictures came out AMAZING!!!!
I would definitely recommend them to a bride and groom on a conscious budget, they aren't the cheapest, but for what you pay, you get everything and peace of mind!!!

Michelle's Ballroom
Beautiful Gem in the neighborhood!!! When looking for a place to have our wedding, we wanted to have our wedding and reception at a beautiful location, but also a location where we can bring in our own food and liquor. Michelle's Ballroom Surpassed it all!!!!! We went to tour the facility, and we very impressed. Even though the place does not have much curb appeal, the inside speaks VOLUMES!! The owner Jorge is very pleasant, and he means business. He was very accommodating to us and very honest with us from the very beginning. The place can hold up to 250 people, and we had a wedding of 200ppl. They do have a lot of centerpieces that are in the storage room, however, we used our own, and they also have a wedding arch. We paid $150/bartender and we had our food catered by Wishbone and LaPalma which is two of our favorite restaurants. We loved every bit of our wedding day and Jorge made sure someone from his staff was there if we needed anything. Great venue and it includes 2 parking lots as well!! We had a blast!!!
Clergy for Weddings
We had the pleasure of having Rev. Rich and Sharon Lindvall officiate at our wedding and WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CEREMONY IT WAS!!!!! From the very beginning of us meeting with Rev. Lindvall, they encouraged us to be prepared for our wedding, and also pre-marriage tips to maintain a successful and happy engagement and soon to be wedding. They also provided us with different ceremony script examples for either Religious, Non-Religious and Non-Denominational ceremonies. We were also allowed to tailor the ceremony to our specifications. Our wedding started at 4pm and Rev. Sharon Lindvall was there by 3:20pm. She was very comforting, and accommodating and very gracious. I would recommend them highly!!!
Oak Mill Bakery
We chose Oak Mill Bakery because of the reviews we read about how awesome their cakes are....THIS IS SOOOO TRUE!!!! EVERYONE AT OUR WEDDING RAVED ABOUT HOW DELICIOUS THE CAKE WAS!
However, we did have some issues with them:
1. They did not deliver our wedding cake until 4:30, even though the paper we had stated for delivery at 3pm. When my wedding coordinator called them to see what was going on, they stated that their paper says they can deliver between 3p-5p...UNREAL
2. We paid for our cake in full and 4 days before our wedding we received a call from their Corporate office stating that we had a balance of almost $600 still remaining which was not correct, however, the store where we made the payments and placed the order never faxed over our order as being paid in full! Unfortunate that they do not have the correct communication lines amongst the stores and the corporate office. The person who called me to state I had not paid in full was very sarcastic and very "blah" in her responses when I asked her if she would like for me to email her the receipts. Her response was "I will call the store and check"....Why didn't they do that anyway before calling me????
3. Once we decided to choose Oak Mill to make our wedding cake in October , we never heard from our sales person Basia ever again. No follow-up, no confirmation of payment made, or general calls to see if there were any questions. She was great during the sales phase, but the follow-up is non-existent.
I think if they hired a few more people to help with the wedding segment, they would be able to provide phenomenal service.
Their cakes are the best ever!!! But their customer service is questionable.
Emperor Limousine
We used Emperor Limo for our wedding day and we are so happy we chose them! We met with them in October for our June wedding and we were so impressed with their service when we met them we knew we wanted to work with them. Definitely go to meet with them and tour their SUV limos and Limo Bus, they show make sure you are comfortable and give you quality suggestions. They contacted us a month before, a week before and the day before the wedding to make sure they had the most current details and that they also wanted to make sure we were all set for our wedding day. They also email the confirmation of any changes on your reservation!! On the day of the wedding, we had the Infinite QX56 Limo and our driver Kasia was AWESOME!!!! She came on time and well prepared. She had a step stool which helped me get into the SUV with my "poofy" dress, and she was very friendly. She knew exactly where to go and how to get everything done on time. When she finally dropped us all off, she ensured that nothing was left in the limo and that we enjoyed every moment for our wedding day. I highly recommend the service of Emperor Limo, they are great and provide great customer service. Great Staff, Great Service, Great Limos!!!!! Thank You for making our day awesome!!!
